Right on... I bought one that was on a 65 GMC. It was sitting on the side of the road, with a for sale sign. Cost me a uncle benny and a case of Miller High Life. The lift was electric and hand crank to extend it. It had a baseball size hole in the wind shield on drivers side, and the fuel pump was out and tank was clogged. The guy I bought it from wanted it moved as soon as I gave him the money and beer. After a jump and a little gas poured down the carb, she fired right up. Put a old rag we found in the hole in the windshield and a 5 gal jerry can in the front seat with a hose going through the firewall to the carb. Got a little suction going on the hose. Ran like a champ, drove it 200 mi back home. Of course we had to stop every 40 mi, to put gas in the jerry can, and every now and then the rag would blow out of the hole in the windshield. Got it home, sat it out front, and about a week later, sold it to a tree trimmer for $1500.
