Re: 30 % pay cut

Very true rpontonsr1 they want us to pay to work.Its all about profit and screw the contractors cause they thought they can always find people to do this. WRONG. This job is alot of skill involved.Any time your taking a drill inside a 500.000.00 house to run a line for 5.00 takes skill thats after changing out the box you just installed.Or climbing thousands of tele poles or find someone to run a 2 pole drop off a mid span a station line and a phone line just to put in an mta that may or may not work for 15.00. Almost everyone I know has or is gotten out of cable.For a job I just described an installer should make no less than 55 dollars and thats cheap compared to having atleast 2 company man doing it taking them 2 or 3 hours ( 80.00 a truck roll per person an hour )when I could slam the drop in 25 minutes and finish the whole job in an hour for a measly 15.00. Screw the cable companies as they have screwed us.For all you dawgs that wish to remain.  R.I.P.
