First fiber job I was on, '91, company I was with had a giant steel cover, with a slot for the fiber, and covered the reel using a crane, and still had two guys spend the night with it. You'd a thought it was gold. That was in southern Calif. They would have had a hard way to go to get that one. Also, remember Duke getting bent over a contractor hanging a reel on one of their poles in Winston Salem, NC.
