You are right, we are always getting the short end of this rediculious industry. while I am searching for a better life (job), I have learned to take full advantage of what we are allowed to do a s technicians. Working in Louisiana for the past few months has taught me that if you are a good seller, you can make a good living on what you make and custom money. The better part of the dish being phased out is that all dish mounts are now 2". With that being said, pole mounts sales are way up. Diversify yourself in other areas so that you can sell your services on top of the job you are already there to do. On an average, I sell 1-2 poles a day. If I could get out of installing then I would but since 2000 a week jobs are not knocking at my door...........
