I have 2 Tivo Premiers with cable cards that will not work. I have been in contact with Tivo and HITS and Motorola AND NONE OF THEM CAN GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER.
According to the menus everything is set up properly. The card is paired and receiving messages but there is a spot in the conditional access screen that does not display the second paragraph that shows the cards authorization. The 2 boxes are identical and on 2 different nodes in the system. I have several of the older Tivo boxes working for years. Anyone hear of something that has changed and needs some other way of addressing/authorizing these boxes? Any trick or some tid bit I havent tried I would be glad to give it a whirl.
