an 8 way will do it,,,  dvr's do not eat two ports,,, thats just a myth from the early days of swm's,  trust me , i do this everyday,,, but , unless the unit is pre-wired with all the wires run to one point, you will be cable and time ahead to use a four way, and split off the lines with another four or even two ways,,, sorry but previous poster must not be very experienced in the swm jobs or would not make that statement,, if you need to double check because you don't know who to believe ,, just call tech support and tell them you can't use an 8 way on this job,, they will just snicker a little bit ,, and then correct you
