Florida --------- The hammers going to be dropped. This could have been avoided!Heres an email from the State of Florida, on a complaint that was filed. All I gotta say all of you who are installing without a license, companies who use them are going to have a visit really soon. Now I expect all those who have signed Federal documents "15" guys stating that I am an independent contractor for a company in the news, should be getting a letter advising them of possible charges for unlicensed contracting. Most are supervisors and could face criminal charges, but wait the entire installation group was made to sign this form and sworn and notarized. Should I sign my blank copy I have? All others who read this should think Risk Management and start thinking of how this is going to affect the subcontracting of low voltage work to unlicensed installers. The new Govern is aware and looking at this as a big step in cracking down on unlicensed contracting which robs the state of tens of millions every year.
