No one has forced me to do anything. I know what I signed up for (kinda lol) I was told that pricing and scope could change, and it has. I am an independent contractor. To me it is what it is. I just never thought that I would get so burned out so fast...:( Sad part is that I have a good situation, relatively steady work and steady pay. Never had issues with getting paid on time or anything like that.
The feast or famine, grind of the job and it's demands is what is wearing me down to nothin'..The like it or leave it mentality ain't helping either.. I got no beef with the company I contract for, so I got no plans for any claims or lawsuits. Besides, I work with some good folks that don't deserve to get screwed out of their lively hood just cuz I want to start some kind of pissing contest.. When I got started in 2007 I thought this was a great opportunity. Now I think this is a great opportunity for someone else..
