Actually that Motorola phone is worthless unless you want to go back to Nextel. Phones that have an "i" in the beginning of the model number are iDen. LG doesn't make iDen phones, so I am assuming that phone is a GSM phone. SIM cards look the same, but they aren't. The only way that phone will take a GSM sim is if you are out of the states.
