I've seen 4 digital receivers and a modem work off a 700 ft rg6 drop in a 550mghtz system. Still doesn't make it the right way to do it. But, all in all, the shit is working, no tiling and the cstmr is happy with his HSI service. I guess as long as the cstmr is happy and isn't complaining, all's good. Small rural cable companies usually do whatever it takes to get the cstmr on and working. Larger MSO's usually stick with the company specs and standards.
