Ummm noo they are eliminating the regular tech positions. Replacing them with the U-verse techs. The Uverse techs have a totally different contract, and can not move into the other areas at AT&T. Basically techs that were making 25+ and hour were replaced with 11-13 an hour techs, that could max out at 19 an hour.
