I always wanted to hunt Moose(the ultimate Venson) never did, but I did kill 8 elk there good eating.I will always want a young cow Elk for the meat. Killed a cow Buffalo last November on a ranch.Great meat but tough,the best summer sausage I have ever eaten.I used my trusty 7 mag neck shot at 150 yards.This week end I spent setting up a hog hunting place outside of Pottsboro.Hogs are our varmint here in Texas.The little boars and sows are great eating.Hunt in the day, night ,spot light them any weapon,my new hog gun is a ar10 308 with 19 round clip.A silenced 300 whisper is in the plans for next year  its legal down here to hog hunt with a silenced weapon,just don't kill a deer with it.I have killed enough deer in my life.Good luck and shoot straight.Chuck
