Well, I do appreciate the compliment. However, in defense of others, I must say that most of the posts I read make sense, if you slow down and read it outloud. It seems to be a case of hurry, hurry, I believe, not a case of being under-educated.
Suffice to say, cable is not my chosen line of work. I am college educated, with extensive background in criminal justice, legal code, and business management with years of office work. I stumbled into cable (because I was not afraid of heights, and I dated someone who worked in cable for years), and found that I could make more money there than anything else I had decided to tackle in my life - except maybe production work and welding. But I did enjoy it more than other jobs because I could do something different everyday.
Now, with the industry in the dumps, as you say, it is harder and harder to find primes and contractors that will pay you decently, on time, and correctly.
