Re: Realistic Earning Expectations Doing DTV Insta

Dont do it... Now it seems there is a new system taking place from Mastec charging everyone back for not meeting phone line requirements. So everyone IRD is being charged back for that period if you fail to meet your numbers.  How can you met numbers when your not in control of who has phone service and who doesnt.  Most good techs put in around 50-80 irds a month now if your not at 35% each ird costs you 3 dollars.

So now you have 37.00 charge backs for service calls for back equipment, rebult chargebacks when the customer changes there mind on irds in there home and now everybox for that month at 3 bucs a pop. Oh and FSR's when the customer wants to know where your at.  Even if your within the time frame you get a charge back.

I read a guy who gets a fwe hundred a month in chargebacks now its going to 300-500 a month in charge backs.  1500 a week is 4 New installs Ka/Ku with 4-6 boxes 8am till 10 pm everyday if they all go in.

So the most Ive scene guys at two dif locations make is 800-1000 a week.

With 200 in chargebacks and they materials cost for wire and fittings, poles and clips.

1500 a week is a longshoot in my opin...

1500 every two weeks yes.
