If you work for DTV as a contractor you will regret it a few months after you start. Then it is to late and you are trapped thinking you need to stick it out to make your money back. DTV inhouse tech are out to get contractors. All of the bad apples make the few good contractors get screwed. In my area we had 2 tornado's and the worst hailstorm in the history of the state. All most every tech had a SIn 7, 30, 60, 90 rates into the 30 to 50% . Some Techs checks 3 weeks after the Hail Storm had 700.00 in charge backs from service calls where people had to go back and replace the damaged dishes. For almost a month techs had 500 a week in charge backs from hail damage service calls. It didn't stop until someone realized what was happening and tried to fix it. Well now it is 6 months post hail storm and Contractors are still getting beat over the head. All the hail damaged roof are being replaced and the charge backs continue. So as a DTV contractor it is a nightmare.
