Da Specs differ from not only Power Co. to Power Co. and city to city and County to County.... yet even further from State to State.... etc... The deal is that you have the NSEC involved on a National Level known as the National Secret Electrical Code.... then you have the local people interpreting that NSEC code on local levels which is as now...  Quoting the electrical code .... 'open to the inspectors interpretation of the National Electrical code'. So as you can see that it all boils down to a 'Cluster Fuck of who can do who some good and waht olitician ya knowe
