"All I know is, my phone never goes out.  The cable is another story.  Time Warner has dicked around with their techs so much that most of them don't seem to care if your cable works or not.  They say that tech ops is run by accountants now."

Hook up to u-verse and you'll see just how often your phone goes out. It happens more than you think,  you just don't realize it because you aren't constantly monitoring it like you do your cable.
