Corp has decided to switch to docsis 3.0. I'm wondering what others have experienced in making the switch. I believe they are planning on running 4 downstream channels(75-78)and putting the center return freqs somewhere around 24 and 28 mhz. Running Gerrald and SA II gear out to 550. The system I work in is channel locked so they are looking at pushing the gear out to channel 83 to add more channels. We have test channels out to 83 and the levels seem to be ok at the moment. No roll off in the locations that I have checked (a miracle)Thankfully they aren't putting any digi out there.
I'm just curious as to what kinds of issues any of you have had and what types of things you did to overcome those issues. What kinds of problems can I anticipate? Thanks in advance for and tips or tricks.
