The penetration was only TV service. The owner was told by his staff that cable modem would never work. They had a cacade of 55 amp. and taught this was OK and were really proud of this cascade.
This why I mentionned that some cable company had no knowledge of what were the advantages of HFC system.
I come back again on the question of the owner "If we instal fiber, will this bring me more customer ?"
That is the maine reason why the system was ofr sale after a few years.
