I for one beleive that if someone wants to be here that much then they should be granted citizenship for their service in the military. I would make it to they would have to serve a minimum of 4 years and not 2. 2 years is not enough time in my opinion unless those 2 were in combat situations. Then they would be treated as any other citizen. i am not sure how long someone has to serve for the GI bill. I wouldnt make any special treatments to them. I dont know why anyone would fight this.
