Very interesting and informative indeed.
Easy to understand why, of all the many many FTTH/P projects that we've been involved with, not one has been the same in design or architecture as the previous one. Seems like with each new design, a little more is learned and applied in the next one. Of course the rapid rate of applied technological advances has a bit to do with that as well.
