....Got a call, "Man, can't get the modem to lock in and the boxes won't come on." "Did you check signal." I asked. "Yea, man. It's all good. Must be a line problem. It's all new here." Installer replied. "Hold on there, I'll run over and we'll figure it out." I said. I get there. Signal and modem good at tap; Good at ground block. Nothing off any face plate in the house. Whip out ever ready trusty Klien Philips. Remove said wall plate. Just outlet wire behind the plates, everyone of them in the house. Not a connector on one. pre-wired all the way. Checked signal my ass. Fuckin' installers. Line problem, yea installers line.
