Did you see it in slow motion? I was watching the game in HD in real time. Saw the replay dozens of times. That ball was stuck to him like a sand burr on a shoe lace. But I guess people see what they want to see.
I've seen countless touchdowns called with players diving across the pylon, holding the ball in one hand, crossing the goal line and having the ball dislodge from the hand upon impact with the ground. Called a touchdown everytime.
Here, Calvin Johnson does so much more, all with complete control of the ball, and all in the end zone ... and no touchdown. I guess it would of been a touchdown for every team in the NFL, except the Lions.
On another note, the Saints are strong again, that's for sure!
