You aren't one of those guys that got in when sweep was the thing and that is all you know, are you? Cause if you did know about the business, you would realize that splicers get paid footage also. And the construction guys also get footage. Hell, the whole system design is based on footage. You are paid according to you, forward ftg prices. Well that footage has to end and that is what you are being paid for to check on is to the end. It's called doing your job.
