This is a very ignorant, and non-Christian response to a very difficult problem. However, I do believe, with all my heart, that he is within his first amendment rights, as an American. It is not popular, but it is his right. Just like the hippies were allowed to burn the flag in protest of the Vietnam war. It was very unpatriotic, but it was the right that was given to them by the US Constitution. My grandfather, a retired USMC Major (WW2), told me that just because someone's expression of free speech goes against the U.S. or anyone else, many men have fought and died, protecting that very right.
