It is others that have ruined things for legitimate business people. In the past I have contacted companies from here on the Bar...accepted work from them...been paid accurately and regret that they elected to cease operations.
The ones who have come along to replace them are less ethical. I know for a fact that the office at Emerald Satellite of Baltimore, MD was routing techs using my tech number through DirectSatUSA out of Philly for over a month after I refused work until paid....AS AN EXAMPLE. I continued to get requests for ETAs but Emerald left town without paying.
I could go on. ......But both parties need to feel comfortable dealing with each other. Bad things can happen even when both parties are attempting to play according to the rules.
