A 47-year-old man from Honey Brook, Pa., was knocked out of a truck-mounted cherry picker this morning when another truck hit the bottom of the bucket he was working from, police said.
Jesse Scott Leslie was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill following the 11:49 incident at Route 248 and Park Avenue in Palmer Township, a township police spokeswoman said.
"He was in pretty bad shape," she said.
The incident happened catty-corner from the Palmer Park Mall in front of Park Avenue Market, police said.
A St. Luke's nursing supervisor said this afternoon Leslie was not yet entered into the hospital database so his condition was unavailable.
Honey Brook, in Chester County, is about 30 miles south of Reading
