Did any of you guys ever hear the story about a reel trailer coming off a truck while it was coming to a stop at a traffic light in the SB lane? Supposedly the driver looked over and saw the trailer passing the truck in the NB lane. As the story goes, an old man comes around the corner, hits it head on, the trailer goes up and over a guard rail and down a steep hill. They get out and the first thing the old man says is did you see that sonavabitch try and pass you?

East Lyme, Conn. (WTNH) - Six cars crashed on I-95 North in East Lyme after a cable reel fell off of a truck.
It happened near Exit 72 around 10:30am. The highway was closed for less an hour.
A witness tells News 8 that the truck was traveling in the southbound lanes when the cable reel somehow came loose and rolled into the northbound lanes causing the crash.
No word on any injuries.
