Splicer, I do file my taxes and itemize my deductions. I also keep exacting paperwork on what I bill and what I am paid, what I spend and what I don't. That said I worked for a company that would backcharge the whole damn job for a trouble call over a remote issue(seriously). They would then issue you a check saying they paid you the back charge, charge tax on the backcharged money but not put the money in your check. That my friend is illegal...irs needs to slam thier asses to the wall...
