Re: Illegal Immigrants

You forgot the Irish..But,,,one thing they all did, was to learn the english language, and spoke their native tongue when at home. No billboards are in any of those languages or push a button for that language. They learned to respect this great country for what it was and still is(kinda). Whats the percentage of those immigrants that eventually became US citizens, compared to the illegal immigration that's going on now? What is the exscuse for those illegal immigrants that have been in this Country, for 10, 15, and maybe even 20 yrs. and they still are not US citizens? Why do they choose not to learn English, as the rest of Americans do? Why, why, why,,,,so many whys to ponder, that I think, but am not sure......How many truly wanna be an American and understand what this country stands for.
