Seriously? The only time a prime has to pay OT, 1099 or not, is if work exceeds 40 hours.
Where could i find the statue stating that 1099 also gets ot??
Don't think there is a statue that states anything of the sort. However, if you want to know what statute exists, just check the DOL website. You & your coworkers will be amazed at what rights you think you deserve that you do not.
