At some point reality has to play a part in that idea. If a person is racist and a reasonable man can see it, then no I don't think it is racist to say someone is IF they truly are. But to say someone is racist just because their disdain for another that is of different ethnicity isn't always accurate. It is just labeling.
What is a racist? My opinion is that it is anyone showing favoritism or disdain for someone based solely on their ethnicity. Let's say white girls only liking Black, Hispanic or Asian guys. Anyone but whites. That may be considered racist. Or Black, Hispanic or Asian girls only liking White guys. You know what I mean. It isn't pretty when people favor or dislike anyone because of there race.
As far as what people consider themselves............well not everyone can be objective nor tolerant. And not everyone can let others have a logical educated opinion without labeling them racist. So in that, are those people racist? good question Sweat. Sorry for the attacks you are about to get or have already gotten because I don't view this post as an attack on anyone.
