Every year its on the news here about Nagasaki and Hiroshima and how "the bombs killed soo many civilians and was deplorable etc etc" I will agree war is hell and I have no desire to kill or send others to kill for me. Having said that How many Koreans, Chinese, Philipino's, and other island populations were killed or enslaved by the japanese during ww2? I can let the past go however. This happened 60 some years ago long before I was a dirty thought in my daddy's mind. I understand that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it but maybe we should start looking at this war under a different context. The number of people who actually fought in that war who are still alive is pretty small now I think.
