There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I filed a' stop notice' on the company that still owed the prime money and from what I understand, it is being held until our dispute is resolved. I then sent a demand for payment notice via process server giving him 10 business days to pay. After 10 days, off to small claims court, and for a 40 dollar filing fee, the court will serve him and order his presence into to court to explain why he stiffed his remaining employees when shutting the doors. See, I never quit. His contract was pulled and he closed shop. We never saw it coming. It happened overnight after working with this guy over 4 years!!
