I have always been a contractor, of course it was always about the money, but that started to dry up in 2003 and so did the quality of the work force. Because of that, I went into collections. Then MSO's started tying our hands and restricting the parameters by expecting 30 day results on 60 + day work. So I got out of cable and started a new career in the IT world.
If I had to go back into cable, inhouse is the only route I would go. I'd hate it, but I'd do it if it were the last resort.
