Jones/ NCTI was a cable company in the beginning that provided these courses for their staff. Other companies liked the curriculuum and asked for the courses. Jones figured out that this was the best way to stay in business and went solely into courses. The unfortunate part is a lot of companies or higher ups do not recognize other reputable courses or do not like to pay for courses from NCTI they deem you do not need. The best thing to do is follow the other advice and decided where you plan on being down the road. IF they do not reimburse then consider it furthering your education, take it as a tax break and use it in the future to make yourself more valuable.
