Tell her to save her money... get an OTA antenna for local HD broadcast, get 5 MB through TWC or AT&T and get a Netflix account. Tell her to hook her computer to her TV and discover Hulu, Crackle and Fancast! Same programming as cable all for the price of HSD only!
AT&T began the downward spiral in pricing back in 2001 with their little AT&T Broadband stunt and TWC is TWC. Which would be the lesser of the two evils?
I live just north of Charlotte, I fired TWC 6 months ago. I picked up Windstream for DSL and did the items above and I saved over $85 a month. It depends on what you want for programming. Good luck!
