There IS a difference between a "back charge" and damage to property.
If you are a complete hack installer and fall thru ceilings / cut huge holes/ drill into water pipes/ fall off roofs onto the flower bed, then yes let them "backcharge you "
If not, occasionally staple a coax, crimp a bad fitting, or as a installer I knew, boot up ( as in shoe )on a white leather couch , carry your own insurance.
The best teacher is to $ pay for your mistakes.
