I can only speak for myself, also, and MY experience with Hi Gear,
I was lied to from day 1 and after about 2 weeks realized when "Sam" took one
of the other trainees off to his house to move his furniture for $8.00/hour
(no tips or lunch either, don't people even buy allied van lines lunch??) that
I was at the WRONG place. I am a contractor too, and know how to run a contract business (with insurance, etc...) another thing the techs at higear don't have (commercial auto) because they can't afford it. Even though if they wreck out there without it and are sued and lose there house, and family is on the street (worse case scenario, but thats what insurance is for) Sam will be living large still at his house. Oh and the reason I carry commercial insurance is because I "do" things right by the way. Not telling anyone else to get it or not. Personally, I could really care less, cause Im on to much bigger and better things,
I just want to write this and I'll write it again HIGEAR, and HI GEAR incase someone searches it differently, that they see my experience and don't waste there time and money there too GOD BLESS
