Re: Stop the motion

If you promise not to tell anyone else I'll let you in on a secret method I stumbled upon. Don't let this get out or all the freeloading cheapskates who don't pay for membership and get the uppy downy ad in subscribed will steal it, then they'll have to shut the whole blog down for lack of ad revenue. So promise not to tell! Ready... it's a little complicated. Now first thing is to look for the ad. It'll be going up and down as you read the different postings. It's always at the top of the screen, though, usually big and colorful. Sometimes not so colorful but always big. I mean, relatively big. When I'm on the netbook it's really big, but that's probably because the screen is small. My notebook and desktop both have 1920x1080 or larger screens so the ad is usually small on those. The desktop screen is a Sony I got pretty cheap from BestBuy when the wife and I were out shopping for a present for my nephew. He was turning 12 and they love video games and electronics at that age. When I was 12 we didn't have iPods and crazy stuff like that. I got a bike for my birthday when I was 12. Remember the banana seats and sissy bars? Man, those were the days. Anyyyyhoo... so on to the ad again. With a little work you should have found that puppy, so now you just have to find the secret spot what makes it stop moving up and down, up and down, up and down. What you're looking for is a kind of rectangular box. The whole ad is actually a rectangular box, so it's not that one. Now, depending on the ad, it may have a few rectangular boxes inside, but if it looks like it's part of the ad itself then it probably ain't none of those neither. You're gonna have to do a little huntin for this critter. It likes to hang out at the top of the ad, kinda to the righthand side. It's a bit of light yellow in color, though not really. Maybe an off-white, like an eggshell or bone. But definitely on the RG side of the RGB scale, that's for sure. I guess it really depends on how your monitor shows it. Some monitors can be off in color adjustments. That's why I bought a good one. It's a Sony I got pretty cheap from BestBuy when the wife and I were out shopping for a present for my nephew. He was turning 12 and... I think I already told this story, didn't I? Did you find the box yet? Inside the box there's some writing. The letters are really small and may be hard to read, but again it's going to be relative depending on your monitor and all. My eyesight's not that good anymore, which is why I got a nice, big monitor. Got it cheap at BestBuy, but that's a story for another time. So looking at this rectangular yellow-ish/maybe off white box you'll see very small (relatively of course) letters C-L-O-S-E. Now, next to those letters is another little box with an X in it, but that one's a square. Don't get tripped up by all that. All you gotta do is click anywhere in that little (relatively) fucking magic rectangle with the secret message inside... just click away on that fucker and POOF! no more uppy downy!

I hope that helps. Remember, though, this is just between you and me.

It's easy to define what you're willing to fight for; but what are you willing to stand for without fighting? What are you willing to lay down your life for?
