um, they probably mean a lien on the house of the contractor that gigged you. but if you heard it in "the shop" it may just be "shop talk". consult with someone that really knows the law like a lawyer. maybe that guy from the east coast will lend you his. find the facts on your own, you won't get them from the guys in the shop or here. it's mostly shop talk here, too. don't ask me either, i don't know shit. thank you.
