Was the LE in the easement? Boy,,, that kind of stuff just chafes my ass. I think it was 91 or 92, I got a call around 1 am from the guy that lived across the alley from my warehouse. He had called to tell me my warehouse was on fire. Make a long story short, it was a total loss. Trucks, winches, lashers, rollers, everything I owned. The fire dept investigated it, and determined it was arson. They asked me if I had insurance, I did, but not near enough to replace what was lost. So I was cleared. But, the day before the fire, I had to let go a crew, that was doing substandard work. I knew it was one of them, but like you said, could not prove it beyond a doubt. They were investigated, and all had alibi's. It took awhile, but what goes around comes around.
