Cisco will help but look into getting RCDD certified (you can google it to find out where you can get certified in your area), then if you do continue down that path and you start looking for work go to one of the job search engines and look under cabling or structured cabling.

I like indeed.com because it searches not only companies but other search engines like monster and hotjobs etc for you.
