Get out of the cable industry completely, Any thing is better, believe me I have been there and done that. Go find a crappy paying job and go from there. I remember when modems paid 100.00 dollars. 2000 or more a week was common. We had pride in our work and felt it was a upper class job with higher than normal pay.
