I have no idea what you are talking about in this first sentence. Whatever your trying to say is not coming out right. The second question would be level output as I would be sweeping an active with a JDSU SDA 5000.
We are not talking about gains of actives. The OP said he swept a node a year ago and now he is 5 db low at his inputs on active or actives. He is RESWEEPING the same plant. He was wondering if temp causes this. I say no. I was saying that if he just set up an active at 48 DBmv on output leg of active he shouldnt be 5 dbmv lower on input of next active.
