I did the same thing. I have the LG BD590 (BluRay, Netflix/VuDu/CinemaNow/Pandora enable, WiFi, 250 GB hard drive), a PC (Hulu, Crackle, Fancast, Bit Torrent as well as internet use) and an OTA HD antenna all connected to my 47" TV. I am tired of the crap programming on the TV and could no longer justify paying $130 each month to watch two or three shows and check e-mail. I kept my 7 MB service and pay $50 to my local provider. That's it. I pull 36 different feeds from my OTA and between Hulu and Netflix, there are no commercials to fast forward through either. My family and I are for more active with out 200+ channels polluting my living room. I save $80 a month.
I have even started advertising this on Craigslist to help the folks around me do the same thing. Slowly but surely, I will help people say no to cable (Time Warner in our area).
