we did that type of work back in the 90s for Comcast in Ft Wayne.  However we did not use installer/techs for the work.  They were paid $1.50 per address and $5 bonus for every account recieved payment on before disco.  The disco was sceduled for the 15th day.  The people did it 2 days a week and ususally could do approx 200 in 2 days.  The bonuses were at about 10% so they made about $400 for 2 days work.  Again that was almost 20 years ago and we used techs in training or sales people.  It sounds like either your getting a city wide route.  What are they paying you per address?
