Wind farms make noise if you are at the wind farm. Wind farms are ugly and look stupid in the landscape. Working on one is even worse. I was at a bar in hanolantown Iowa and was talking to a person that rented out his land to a wind farm for 6,000 dollars per wind mill per year. He had 60 windmills on his land. Must be nice all that free beer.
