I agree with you 100% on that one. But I guess the point I was trying to make was that her comments (that I don't agree with) were not made in any official capacity. They were her personal remarks and she had every right to say them without anyone stirring up the shit so much that she felt she had to resign.
But you can piss on the flag, set it on fire, and do so many worse things and no ones says anything or they say they are speaking for the masses. But if you do speak your piece and it is not politically correct or is not against the USA, your nailed to the cross.
George Orwell may have missed the mark with the year 1984 but the USA is becoming more and more like the book. If speaking you personal thoughts in public can cause so much shit that you have to resign from your job we may already be there.
I better watch what I'm saying here or the thought police may be at my door next....I already know Big Brother is watching. Hell work for him......
