Thanks for your input.  I will be staying in the Shreveport area.  Somebody just gave me a brochure from RoomSavers.com, I think I will try some of their rooms.  The brochure offers discounts in LA and MS.  The Bossier Inn and Suites looks like it is 37 a night.  I think I will check it out this week.
